Master of Hydroinformatics

In recent years, with the growing number of computer devices including software for modeling, WEB-based information and knowledge systems, GIS is used to support decision-making for flood and river management, urban drainage and drinking water networks, river estuaries and coastal management (coastal zone management) at all levels of management. Specifically, the purpose of the master degree in the field of management expertise and water resources engineering Hydroinformatics concentration aims to:

  1. Improving the capacity of Government staff, particularly in the Department of Public Works and Housing of Indonesia which deals with Water Resources Development.
  2. Preparing professionals in the field of hydroinformatics in institutions that handle the Management and Engineering of Water Resources by using computer modeling and information technology.
  3. Establish professional networks that will contribute positively and innovatively in the management of Water Resources based on the principles of sustainability, balance, general benefit, integrity and harmony, justice, independence, and transparency and accountability.
